Master the assembly of your Mogogo Roll'n Cart in minutes with this comprehensive guide designed to get your mobile foodservice solution operational quickly and efficiently.

What's in the box?

Before beginning assembly, familiarize yourself with all components included in your Mogogo Roll'n Cart package. Lay everything out on the floor (a cardboard sheet protects the panels). You should have:

  • 3 BHP panels (top shelf, bottom shelf, and middle shelf — each approximately 35.4" × 20.8" / 90cm × 53cm)
  • Stainless steel connector segments — a set of male-end and female-end tubes
  • 1 leather handle (or stainless steel handle, depending on your model)
  • 4 casters with brakes (red brake tabs)
  • M16 Allen screws
  • Allen key and flat wrench for tightening casters (Wrench may not be needed in newer models)

The Mogogo Roll'n Cart from Steelite features high-quality construction materials engineered for demanding restaurant and hospitality environments. Your package includes BHP Panels, vertical posts or segments, handle, casters, and depending on confirguation some other accessories. The hardware kit contains all allen screws, and screw caps., bolts, and assembly tools required for complete installation. Taking inventory of these components before starting ensures a smooth assembly process and confirms all necessary parts are present.

Steelite's design prioritizes functionality and durability, with each component manufactured to precise specifications. The cart's modular design allows for efficient assembly while maintaining structural integrity under daily use. Understanding how these components work together will help you complete assembly quickly and ensure your cart performs reliably throughout its service life in your kitchen or dining area.

Preparing Your Workspace for Efficient Assembly

Select a clean, flat surface with adequate space to lay out all components and move freely during assembly. A clear workspace measuring approximately six feet by six feet provides sufficient room to organize parts, reference the instruction manual, and maneuver the cart as it takes shape.

Organize all hardware and fasteners by type before beginning, which streamlines the assembly process and helps you quickly locate the correct components at each step. Review the official assembly instructions from Mogogo to familiarize yourself with the sequence of steps. This preparation approach aligns with professional kitchen standards where efficiency and attention to detail directly impact operational readiness.

Step-By-Step Assembly

Step 1: Orient Your First Panel

Stand one of the BHP panels on its side — this becomes your starting point and makes it much easier to attach the first round of segments without anything rolling around.

Step 2: Attach the Handle and First Set of Segments

With the panel on its side, Screw the male end of 2 segments and tighten to the handle. Thread it together and tighten as firm as you can by hand — you want it snug before any tools come into play.

Note: If your cart came with a stainless steel handle instead of a leather handle, the process is identical — the attachment points are the same.

Step 3: Attach remaining 2 segments to the Top Panel

Once the handle side is set, take the two female-end segments along with the provided screws and attach them to the other side of the same panel. Again, tighten as much as you can by hand before reaching for the Allen key. Getting these hand-tight first ensures the panels are properly aligned before final torque.

Step 4: Turn the cart over and Add the Second Panel (Middle Shelf)

Flip the assembly over. Place the Second Panel on top and connect the remaining segments — each of the 4 remaining segments has a male and female end. Insert the male end of each through the pre-drilled holes of the Second Panel and tighten as much as you can by hand.

Step 5: Add the Third Panel(Bottom Shelf) & Casters

Place the Third Panel on top of the last 4 segments you installed. Screw the casters on by hand, threading each caster screw through the pre-drilled holes on the Third Panel.

Important: All four casters are equipped with brakes. Before threading each caster into its mount, engage the brake first (press the red tab down). Having the brake set while you install it makes threading much easier — the wheel stays still while you torque the fitting. At this stage the cart frame — three shelves, handle, and all stainless connector posts — should be fully assembled and freestanding.

Step 6: Flip Upright and Finalize

Once all four casters are on, flip the cart back to its upright position. Give each segment connector a final check and tighten any that shifted during the flip. Press on the screw caps to cover the exposed segment ends. The cart is ready to roll.

Preventive Maintenance Tip

Every few weeks — or at minimum every few months — take a moment to re-tighten all segment connections. The cart sees a lot of movement in service environments and connections can work themselves loose over time. A quick pass with your Allen key keeps everything solid and extends the life of the cart significantly.
